ABOUT ROBBIE
Robbie Gordy is a sought-after auctioneer and presenter for live and virtual events across the United States, known for a signature warmth and polish that engages audiences and encourages giving.
Born in Nebraska and raised on a steady diet of fine art museums and The Antiques Roadshow, Robbie went on to become a Fulbright Scholar and graduate of the Courtauld Institute of Art in London.
Robbie became the youngest auctioneer in the history of Christie’s New York headquarters, developing an approachable auctioneering style that drove competition and delivered outstanding financial results.
Today, Robbie works with a diverse group of exceptional civic and cultural organizations to create mission-driven giving moments through live auctions, paddle raises, and other fundraising appeals, generating over $500 million in recent years.
While every event is unique, Robbie’s approach is rooted in the belief that audiences should feel entertained and at ease, driving financial success through inspiration, not antics.
Robbie may be from the Midwest, but he does not sell cattle.
